My kid sister had mild eczema rashes but lately it's gotten worse. I really feel awful seeing her like this. Some of the baby eczema pictures look like just big red blotch marks but other have more bumps. She gets the eczema with bumps.

I'll be honest with you. My niece has toddler eczema and it is very hard to see her scratching and itching. I wish I could make it go away. My sister-in-law knows it is related to her diet but hasn't figured out exactly the foods because sometimes she eats several allergenic ones at the same time. It is hard to get kids to eat right!

I don't think kids should be using topical steroids or cortisone cream because they can thin the skin and get absorbed in the skin. Think about how they have patches for hormones and nicotine right. Our skin can absorb into our bodies.

Baby eczema seems to often be due to food intolerances. My daughter had reactions to so many foods that we ended up getting organic and using milk substitutes. She is less sensitive now but we still avoid wheat, eggs and nuts. Her skin has smoothed out.
