Supplements for Rashes
My skin rash is improving a great deal. I am not sure if it will flare up but I have been taking a lot of supplements and since I was using various cortisone creams for 3 months I think it has to be in part at least improving due the supplements. My job is quite stressful as a counselor with lots of adhd kids, elderly patients in assisted living facilities, divorced couples struggling and single moms in financial dilemmas.
I based my own mixture of various vitamins, minerals and herbs from studying the net for a few months and putting together recommended supplements for yeast issues (which I know I had due to tinnea versicolor on upper back) as well as eczema (which two doctors said I have).
It also is less hot now in florida so I think the heat definitely did aggravate the whole situation and perspiration made things worse. I am still not sure of what the cause of this rash was and if I should have allergy testing or not but will wait with cautious optimism to see if it is going to flare up again. I am staying out of the sun for now.
Here’s what I’ve been taking:
Flax Seed Oil for the omega 3
Candida Support
Fish Oil (omega 6)
Vitamin C
Oregano Oil
Grapefruit Seed Extract
Super Lysine (in case rash was due to hsv herpes and it was erythema multiforme minor or pithyriasis rosae)
B Complex for Stress
Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc
Yes, it is a lot but since I am not sure which helped I am going to stay with them for a while.
I had a patient that recommended these two helped her with her skin rash issues (it was a yeast/fungus rash in her biopsy) :
She uses this for getting Omega 3 and 6 oils. I definitely think the omega 3 helped me in middle of night when I was itchy. I would take it with my cal/mag pill and fall back to sleep in half an hour.
At my most recent appointment I was told that the cause of the rash may never be discovered and that is common!
