I use to get a stress rash all the time even when I was in grade school. My mom use to take me to the docter b/c NOTHING would even help a tiny bit. It was horrible I'd break out in between my fingers and on my knees. My family docter never knew what it was and the creams that he gave me never helped at all. Well I evently stoped getting it the older I got. Then I got it again after high school when my Grandmother died, and it was very bad. I ended up going and seeing a skin dr. and she knew right away what it was. She told me it was a stress rash and basically why none of the anit itch stuff helped was b/c it was my nerve endings "freaking out" causing me to break out. Now for the life of me I can not remember the med. that she gave to me it was presc. and came in a little container like hair moose and came out as a foam sort of like hair moose but it melted on your skin. It is the ONLY thing that has ever worked for me! Wish I could remember the name, sorry. But I'd like to note that when I break out its little tiny bumps the color of my skin it dose not look like a hive. However I'd rather have my whole arm covered in posion ivy than to even have one little stress bump. I suggest going to the dr and if the family dr cant help then go see a skin dr. Best of luck!
