Psoriasis Dead Sea Salt Treatment Products Review

I’ve been hearing from a few readers that they have had significant improvements for psoriasis problems by using natural supplements including the dead sea salt treatment products. What is this all about? Is it different than just getting in a tub and adding epsom salt and other ingredients?

One thing that I was told when I asked around about the psoriasis dead sea salt products to clear the skin was that it’s good to get something with a certificate that it truly is a dead sea product. You don’t want something that isn’t authentic. I only found one company that provides this. You don’t want processed salts that remove the minerals as that is the way to get an effective result. Cleopatra has 26 minerals. The color of genuine bath sea salt is off-white. It shouldn’t looked bleached. Magnesium, potassium, sodium and calcium salts should all be contained. This is one distinction from just using epsom salt.

I found this review by Dr. Ardnt helpful:

This was a study of the effect of Dead Sea Bath Salts for rash on patients suffering from psoriasis. Fifty patients, aged between 14 and 77 years were treated with the salts in a controlled way. Treatment consisted of partial or total baths. For a total bath, 2 kgs (4.5lbs) of the salts were dissolved in a bath at a temperature of 27°C. The partial baths were made with a concentration of about 10%. The baths lasted for 20 minutes and afterwards the skin was thoroughly rinsed with running water. The effect is enhanced when the patient remains in a warm packed condition for one hour after the bath.

The treatment lasted for 3 weeks, with 3-4 baths per week. The results show that most symptoms of the illness diminished within one week of treatment, notably itch, scaling joint complaints, and the falling asleep and sleep through difficulties. Other parameters such as spread, redness and infiltration decreased somewhat more slowly. Improvement was steady - the four week treatment left the patients essentially free from complaints by using Dead Sea salt.

Dr. Arndt points out that of particular importance from the patient’s point of view is the rapid relief from such irritating a symptom as itching. There is a corresponding relief from sleeping disturbances, which were rather widespread prior to treatment with bath salts from the Dead Sea. The drastic decrease in scaling within one week can be interpreted by physician and patient alike as a further proof of the course outlined above: Healing was total in 27 patients (54%), whereas in 22 cases there was a marked impressive improvement. Tolerance was excellent in all 50 cases. There were no side effects whatsoever, dermatological or otherwise.

A regular blog reader, Sue, wrote me, “This Cleopatra product has helped my psoriasis skin rash more than anything I’ve used. I started having psoriasis at age 10.” You can read more below to study ingredients and how it works. It is risk free with their money back guarantee. (This is important for any internet purchase). Please tell me how this works for you.

  1. My friend used a dead sea product and it helped her. I am not sure where she got it. She was misearble with those psorasis scales and blotches before that.

  2. i have been with psoriasis for 20 years ave tried everything but all in vain.now i have thought of dead sea salt where do i get it in kenya?

  3. Since the ocean cures so much then it makes sense the dead sea salts are good for plaque psoriasis. I read on the internet that the psoriasis drug Raptiva can cause brain damage so I think natural cures are better.

  4. Would the sea salt treatments of psoriasis help if the person has it because of a stress reaction? Maybe it could because a bath is relaxing and can resolve their anxiety disorder too.

  5. I’ve had psoriasis for seven years now. If I take a shower it’s no good for my skin. Therefore, I bathe for at least half an hour every day which is always relaxing and I only use bath products which do not aggrovate my skin. It has never improved because of this, but it prevents dry skin and itching. I’d love to get a quick shower but it isn’t worth it! I’m just about to give Dead Sea Salts a try. I hope it works. Don’t want hospital treatment again. Would much prefer a more natural therepy.

I am going to try the dead sea salts for psoriasis because I am tired of the prescription creams and it does make sense to me that the sea can heal. I believe there are curative powers we don’t know about in nature and this comes out actually when they find certain plants, berries and natural sources that heal us.
