I used to get a terrible, painful, itchy armpit rash in the summertime. Figured out that it might be a yeast infection. I was using a natural deoderant and I switched to a natural deoderant that has tea tree and lavender in it. It cleared up nicely and I haven't had problems since.

Yeah I also got a rash using one of those very strong deodorants. It felt like it really plugged the sweat duct glands up and that worried me like my skin couldn't breathe and eliminate toxins.

I used to put a little perfume under my armpit before dating and that actually caused me to get an armpit rash. I thought it was my deodorant but it was the perfume. It is a sensitive area there. My friend gets a rash there from shaving too much she said.

My girlfriend got a rash under her armpit when she was using one of those strong deodorants that claimed no odor would occur (forgot what they are called). On her leg sometimes when she shaves at thigh area she gets like razor burn or shaving rash pimples so I guess for some people it can be from shaving but for other people it's from using a deodorant that doesn't agree with them.I definitely wouldn't shave on an area with a rash at all but give it time to get better.
